Presentation Format

Best Practice Lecture: Practitioners present exemplary lessons, instructional practices, programs, and/or initiatives from actual practice followed by Q&A; 30- or 60-minute session. Regular theater seating. Hands-on Demonstration: 30- or 60-minute session to present a demonstration or technique relative to art. Tables for attendee participation may not be available for Hands-on Demonstrations. Hands-on Studio Workshop: 60-, 90-, or 120-minute session where attendees will make a project during the session. If accepted, presenters may be reimbursed for cost of materials, up to a maximum of $25. Tables for attendee participation are provided. Performance: An opportunity to present arts-based performance to provoke thoughtful engagement, reflection, and dialogue related to a topic or issue; 30- or 60-minute sessions. Regular theater seating. Research Lecture: Researchers present academic papers and findings from formal research followed by Q&A; 30- or 60-minute sessions. Regular theater seating. Interactive Discussion: Presenters engage participants in a discussion related to current topics such as effective practice, art education issues, and instructional or curriculum topics. 30-, 60-, 90- or 120-minute session. Regular theater seating.
Technology needs - Check all that apply.   Remember, there is no internet at Knob Noster State Park. We will have one screen and projector for our council meeting. If your presentation needs a screen and projector, you must bring these items. We try and place the technology workshops in the same area. *

Thanks for submitting a conference proposal. As soon as you get an acknowledgement that your presentation proposal has been accepted, you need to immediately go register for the conference.
