The Meigs Memorial Track & Field Challenge will be held annually on the Second Saturday in June at 8:30a.m.  These events are open to all ages and medals are awarded. The proceeds benefit The Dennis Boggs/Adam Grim Scholarship.  The scholarship has been established in honor of Dennis Boggs and Adam Grim. Dennis and Adam were both athletes at Meigs High School. The Scholarship provides two academic scholarships, one female and one male, for MHS graduates who participated in varsity sports.

The event is held at the Meigs High School track in Pomeroy, OH. Check-in time for the “Laugh to the End” 5k will be 7:00-8:15 AM.  The 5k begins at 8:30.  The track & field challenge registration will continue until 9:30 AM. The meet begins at 10 AM.

The fee for participation is $25.  Each participant can compete in 1 to 4 events (5k is one event), but no more than 4. Each event has Medals awarded to the 1st place male and female in each age group. The first 100 registrations received by May 17th will receive a free t-shirt.
