Bishop Gary Gordon of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Victoria invites you to help chart a course for our journey together, now and in the future, as the people of God.  You can watch his video introduction to the Synod at https://www.rcdvictoria.org/synod.

You are encouraged to sign up for one of the Listening Circles that we are offering (more information and how to register are at https://www.rcdvictoria.org/synod).  If you cannot participate in the Listening Circles and would like to offer your own personal reflections, you are invited to use this response form.

In responding to the questions below it is helpful to keep the following in mind:

Journeying together occurs in two deeply interconnected ways:
    1. We journey together with one another in our churches or in our communities.
    2. Our churches or communities journey together with the entire human family.

These two perspectives enrich one another, and are helpful for our common discernment towards deeper communion and more fruitful mission.  As you reflect on journeying, think about how you have journeyed in the past, how you journey now in the present, and how you will journey in the future.

Please know that all information you enter into this form is confidential. Your responses will be incorporated into the Diocesan report without any identifying information. The responses from everyone in the Diocese of Victoria who participates in the Synod will be combined so that the synthesis from our Diocese can be sent on to other levels of the Church. Eventually, syntheses from dioceses around the world will be used in the 2023 Synod of Bishops.
