Our organization is the Education Center. Our mission is to uplift the community through education. Our facilities is at West Covina Christian Church on 1100 E Cameron Ave. West Covina, CA. We are a charter of Rotary Club 222340, and approved and recognized by West Covina Unified Board of Education and work in close partnership with special assignment teacher Cynthia Okamoto and Principal Sylvia Fullerton of Cameron Elementary School.

We provide free tutoring to help your children excel in their school work, life their spirits, and motivate them to succeed. Tutoring is absolutely free of charge, however, you MUST commit to attending all 5-weeks and arrive on-time as your student relies on you.

We will be beginning our tutoring for Spring 2022 on Monday, 4/25/2022 and end on Wednesday, 5/25/2022. It will be every Monday and Wednesday from 3:30-5:00PM.

* for student volunteers - please be advised that you are making a commitment to help an impressionable young student. Being absent due to being busy during exams is not a good excuse. Since you will be specially assigned to your own student, they will suffer in their academic progress if you do not show up! Please plan ahead for any exams, employment, or other volunteer activities.

Each new volunteer should fill out their own application. If you were a volunteer from the previous 5-week section, your information is already on file, and you will be contacted directly. You don't need to fill this form.
