About the event UAE Debating League is the top tier of UAE's Debating Pyramid, which is looking to cultivate the best minds of UAE about Regional, National & International issues. With one Club from each Emirates, we aims to inspire young generation about issues of utmost importance through power and popularity of competition. UDL is organized by AugLi Future Academy and International Debating League, 21st Century Skills Company started by Alumni of Stanford GSB and IIT.
The International Debating League, having circumnavigated the globe virtually with winning teams at LSE Invitational, King's College London and Oxford, now appeals to the young talent of UAE to fasten their seat belts for the biggest qualifiers for your selection to ICYD squad. Eligible - Students from Middle East countries unger age 15 years.
WHAT IS ICYD?ICYD (International Competition for Young Debaters) is an annual debating competition in the British Parliamentary Format that was set up to encourage younger students to take up debating and to give them a chance to debate against students of their own age, with motions more suited to them.
