Sunday October 4 Events:

1. Atlantic Youth Brass Band: 1 p.m.-5 p.m. - Brass Day! with the Atlantic Youth Brass Band and Dr. Bryan Appleby-Wineberg. Join members of the Atlantic Brass Band and Dr. Bryan Appleby-Wineberg to learn about our season of virtual performances, masterclasses, brass techniques and exciting opportunities!

2. Brazilian Music in the Classroom: Engaging your Students!​ (for Teachers!) with Dr. Fabio Oliveira: 2-3 p.m.

3. Rowan Youth Orchestra: 3-4 p.m. Rowan Youth Orchestra Meet and Greet with the new Artistic Director Maestro TBA! Virtual Youth Orchestra! Come meet, the new Rowan Youth Orchestra conductor and learn about our full season of performances, masterclasses, and engaging activities. The new Conductor will talk about how the music will go on, the fun possibilities of being in a virtual orchestra, and offer brief coachings to those who would like to bring their instruments.

4. Rowan Youth String Orchestra: 4-5 p.m. RYSO String Meet and Greet with Artistic Director Dr. Joanne Erwin. The RYSO is a string (violin, viola, cello, bass) ensemble that offers players a chance to play virtually with others. We explore a wide range of music -let’s listen to some examples now. These also expand students technique to prepare them for RYO!​
