We are seeking nominations for THREE positions within the LGBTQ+ Caucus: Chair elect, Treasurer and Member-at-large. Any LGBTQA Caucus member may be nominated, or may nominate themselves. We would especially welcome nominations from colleagues working in institutions located in the global South.
The Chair-Elect (2 year term) is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the section with support of the members of the Executive Committee; act as a liaison with the ISA & other organisations. In 2nd year, the Chair organizes the Caucus’s programme for the annual convention.
The Treasurer (2 year term) is responsible for maintaining records of all meetings and correspondence of the organization; compile and revise as needed a membership list in consultation with the ISA Executive Director; retain a permanent file of the records and publications of the LGBTQ+ Caucus of the ISA; handle the organization's financial affairs at the direction of the Chair.
The Member-at-large (2 year term) is responsible for assisting the Executive Committee as necessary, assist the Chair or serve on one of the Awards Committees; responsible for fundraising for the ISA reception.
