Monroe County Civic Theater is asking for submissions for Banned Books Alive on October 17. In partnership with the Monroe County Public Library, MCCT is presenting a night of conversation and readings on the subject of Banned Books. We are inviting members of our company and the community to sign up for a 5-7 minute slot to read/perform an excerpt from a favorite banned book. Readings will be presented in the auditorium of the Monroe County Public Library (Downtown) October 17 at 6:00pm.
