Nominees will be asked via email whether they wish to accept their nomination. If they accept, the nominee will draft a short statement to be posted in the Astropy section of the Open Astronomy discourse at https://community.openastronomy.org/ to be included in the election.  This form will be open until September 23.

In brief, its "role is to facilitate consensus in the Project and coordinate Project-spanning efforts."

The term of these positions is three years.
