Thank you for your interest in guest blogging for www.BlackAngelMom.com! This blog is my baby and was originally created in honor of my angel-baby daughters Aviva & Jora <3. This blog centers the experiences of Black people who have experienced perinatal loss and addresses areas of grieving, trauma, laughter, healing, poetry and trying to conceive (TTC). It uses humor infused with imagery of beautiful Black folx, combined with realness & love for the culture! BlackAngelMom.com is inclusive of people of all experiences including all sexual orientations, gender identities, ability levels and spiritual affiliations (or lack thereof). It is important that your topic proposal has language that is inclusive and affirmative, and avoids cis-sexism, heterosexism, ableism, racism, heteronormativity and religious rhetoric. If you need examples of what these are, we can set up a phone or video conference to clarify. This blog is creating a space for people to connect with stories that resonate with their own healing. There are too many spaces that do not affirm our Blackness, our queerness, our ability levels, and us generally getting to be ourselves however that shows up, so let this be one of the few that does.
