Teaching Reconstruction: Teachers and Other School Staff Survey
As part of the Teach Reconstruction Campaign, the Zinn Education Project produced a national report on the teaching of Reconstruction, including a state-by-state assessment.

The assessment examines state standards, course requirements, frameworks, and support for teachers in each state.

The report also includes stories about creative efforts by districts and/or individual teachers in each state to teach outside the textbook about Reconstruction.

That is why we want to hear from you.

The report is an evolving document. We are asking district officials and teachers to complete a survey so we can continue to report comprehensively on each state -- both what is officially in place and also the creative ways teachers are going beyond the standards.
