CAMELS contains thousands of state-of-the-art hydrodynamic simulations run with different codes -- AREPO, GIZMO, MP-Gadget -- using different subgrid implementations from the IllustrisTNG, SIMBA, and Astrid models. Thousands of simulations are already publicly available, but as we add more simulations we leave a period to test and validate these simulations. After this period, these simulations will be made publicly available.
By requesting access to the non-public data of CAMELS you acknowledge that: 1) usage of the data is approved only for specific projects, to be communicated to the CAMELS team as a brief abstract, and extensions beyond approved scopes require further coordination with the CAMELS team, 2) we expect that the leading author of the work offer co-authorship to the members of the different teams involved.
