Girls STEAM Ahead  is a free roundtable luncheon supporting girls’ exploration of education and careers in STEAM by connecting students with women studying and working in those fields. We understand that transportation can be a barrier to girls’ participation, so we have teamed up with Flossmoor Service League to provide a transportation stipend to qualifying schools or school districts. Since we have limited capacity to provide bus transportation, bus stipends are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

To qualify for a bus transportation stipend you must:
Recruit a minimum of 15 girls from your school or school district to participate at Girls STEAM Ahead. Schools from within a district can work together to fill their bus. We will not provide a bus stipend to schools or school districts that have not reached the minimum 15 girls. Registration for students will be open from December 15, 2019 to February 21, 2020. All students must complete the online registration in order to attend Girls STEAM Ahead.
