2019 Weslaco Chamber of Commerce Awards Program
The Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2019 Weslaco Chamber Awards Program. Each year the chamber recognizes and celebrates the achievements of member companies through a series of awards programs.

Lifetime Achievement Award: The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated exceptional business achievement and outstanding commitment to Weslaco’s business community over a sustained period of time.

Man or Woman of the Year: The “Man or Woman of the Year” recognizes a  Weslaco citizen who has served the community unselfishly over the last three years.

Business of the Year: The “Business of the Year” recognizes a Weslaco business that has served the community unselfishly.

Award Deadline/Information
All Nominations must be submitted no later than October 23, 2019 by 5PM
Nominations must be comprehensive and should focus on the service and accomplishments based on the individual or business being nominated.

Selection:
Judging will be done by a committee composed of chamber board members, and former award recipients.  The WACC President/CEO will serve as an ex-officio member who will not participate in the selection process.
The committee works confidentially at all times
The committee may suggest an individual be nominated based on his/her volunteer work
The committee reserves the right to consider a nomination for another award.

Announcement:
The announcement and presentation of award will be made at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Luncheon to be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Knapp Conference Center
