The ATB Sprint Challenge continues into Winter with 4 races taking place from June to September 2022 at 8.30am before the ATB Swim. The Sprint Challenge is a bit of fun to test your current aerobic fitness in a race style environment on the same course over 4 races. The Winter Sprint Course will follow the traditional 750m Bruce's Loop that is swam anti clockwise. Challenge yourself, one of your friend's or your fellow ATB Swimmers!

The cost of participation for the series is R 250 OR R 100 per race. There will be no entries on the day of the race! The first race will take place on Sunday 26 June 2022 and the cut off for entry for the first race is 6pm Saturday 25 June 2022. The remaining races will take place on the 24 July, 28 August and 25 September

The Winners (1st Lady and 1st Man) of the Winter Sprint Series will be crowned at the final Sprint race on the 25 September (best of 3 results) and there will be a prize for the Fastest Swim Time recorded during the Series. There will also be lucky draw prizes on offer at the end of the series. So be in it to win it and be there on the 25 September 2022!

RULES OF COMPETITION:
- There are categories for Men and Women ONLY
- Swimmers can choose to take part in wetsuit or non wetsuit
- Swimmers must complete 3 out of 4 Sprint Races to be eligible for the Title of Winter Sprint Series Champion
- Winners are determined from their best 3 results out of 4 swims
- In the event of a tie the fastest time recorded by the Swimmers will be the deciding factor
- No swim aids are allowed during the sprint race e.g.flippers,fins,snorkels or tow floats
- Cutting the course or not rounding the course buoys and/or markers will result in disqualification
