Limits of Scholarship
In keeping with our priorities, the Helmsmen Institute Summer Camps are among the lowest cost Stoa camps in the country. We have made every effort to make our camp affordable, therefore our ability to grant scholarships is highly limited. This means that not every applicant may receive aid, and scholarships only cover tuition. We encourage those in need to apply early as we have awarded scholarships each year for Helmsmen campers!

The Process
Since we trust that all who apply for aid are truly in need, all applications will be reviewed when received, within the submission window. This means it is possible that late applications may not receive aid. Once students submit their applications, the Helmsmen Institute Financial Aid Committee will review and disposition each application. Coaches and references may be contacted. If awardees decline to attend the camp, the aid given will be reallocated to the scholarship fund.
