Welcome to Cloud to Cloud's user test for interaction.

Cloud to Cloud is an interdisiplinary project, with a focus on digital carbon footprint.

It‘s currently being developed by Youran Song (product design, B.A.), Julia Mellert and Simon Sasse (both computer science, M.A), under the course “digital:sovereignity“ offered by Free University of Berlin and Weissensee Academy of Art Berlin, led by Prof. Dr. Claudia Müller-Birn, Prof. Thomas Ness, Prof. Judith Glaser.

Meet the Cuckoo. It tracks your data consumption, and translates it into digital carbon footprint. Everyday before bedtime, it informs you whether your footprint overshot your daily budget or not.
When you don‘t overshoot, the cuckoo‘s appearance in AR would evolve with the growth of your amount of carbon saved. Would you save up more to see the cuckoo evolve? *
