All messages sent on this Discord should be English as that is the common language of the Discord moderators. This includes images and gifs.

[Rule 2 - No Politics]
No real-life political discussions, unless it is a discussion about historical 1920’s Chicago.

[Rule 3 - Respect Everyone]
You shall at all times respect the rights and opinions of other users, as well as refrain from harassing and/or personally attacking other users or the staff of Paradox. You must also respect the requests of those Moderating the Discord.

[Rule 4 - Appropriate Accounts]
Names, nicknames and profile pictures must remain appropriate and not offensive.

[Rule 5 - No NSFW]
Absolutely no form of NSFW (Not Safe For Work), nudity or sexually explicit content is allowed, including profile pictures.

[Rule 6 - Memes]
Whilst memes in general are allowed, certain memes are fully prohibited in this server; Pepe The Frog and Deus Vult*. While we understand that these typically have no ill intent, they are also used by extremists and hate groups and as such could be considered as offensive. Offensive memes in general are not allowed.

[Rule 7 - No Offensive Language]
You shall not send any messages that are considered foul, vulgar, sexually harassing, racially offensive, contain ethnic slurs or in any way discriminatory. This includes the F-bomb.

[Rule 8 - No Discipline Dodging]

Attempting to by-pass banned language filters or circumnavigate a punishment will result in a ban.

[Rule 9 - Advertising]
No for-profit self-promotion or commercial advertising allowed, this includes affiliate/referral links and discord servers. You may share links to specific videos, articles, artwork etc. but you cannot advertise your own or any channels as a whole without direct permission from @ModMail (this includes Twitch at this time).

[Rule 10 - Personal Info]
Do not share personal information of another user - this includes but is not limited to home address, phone number, email, social security number, and photos. Respect other people's desire for privacy. Do not disclose emails, direct messages (DMs), ignore lists, warnings or bans.

[Rule 11 - No Spam]
Do not spam the server; this includes emojis, images (we advise using imgur albums for sharing lots of pictures), messages (including copypastas) and spam-mentioning members on the server. Unsolicited DMs to our members are also unwelcome. Only ping Developers if they are currently active within the conversation! Do not send friend requests to staff. Should there be a legitimate emergency then contact @ModMail.

[Rule 12 - No Impersonation]
Do not impersonate other staff or members.

[Rule 13 - No Piracy]
Discussions related to piracy or other illegal activities are not allowed.

[Rule 14 - Server Etiquette]
Conversation should be kept in relevant channels. Spoilers should not be discussed without spoiler tags and be clearly labelled such as "Harry Potter spoiler: harry is a wizard" by adding ||  tags either side of the message, so it would look like this harry is a wizard.
