The Serene Hills ACE (Across Campus Enrichment) Babysitter’s Club is off to a fantastic start. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students are learning how to care for babies, toddlers, and younger children. We have covered how to keep kids safe, first aid, CPR, feeding, diapering, holding, handling emergency situations, helping kids behave, and how to play/entertain different ages of little ones.
Our babysitters are eager and ready for some real life experiences. We would like to use our last meeting on November 22 from 7:45-8:30 to babysit some of our school community's littlest kiddos. Do you have a baby or toddler (4 months-4yrs old) that you would let them love on? Coach Z and Nurse Bobbi will be present the entire time. It is our hope that our students will be in groups of 2-4 with one little one to watch over. You could drop them off and go for a walk, find a quiet nook to have coffee, or offer a lending hand to another group.
