Interested in sharing your favorite data visualization about library collections? Seeking advice about how to get started with data visualization or need help on a particular project? If so, please consider presenting at the first ever Core Collection Evaluation and Assessment Data Visualization Show and Tell, occurring March 22, 2024 at 12pm Central Time.
The Coffee Talk is scheduled for one hour. Presenters will have 7 minutes to share their visualization and any background information. Depending on the number of presenters, this time may be adjusted. Here is what presenters can expect:
- Presenters will receive an schedule with all presentations and their allotted time.
- Presenters will need to be able to share their screen, or send their visualization to an IG Co-Chair to share on their behalf.
- Presenters will have an opportunity to ask or receive questions from the audience. Presenters should cover: The purpose of the visualization, data sources used to create the visualization, impact or next steps for your visualization, and any questions or advice you have for the audience.
- Presenters may choose to submit their visualization as a PDF to be archived on the IG Connect site. These PDFs will be due at the end of the day, March 22, 2024.
