I know you probably hear this all the time, but comments/feedback truly is what keeps (most) fanfic writers going. I write for myself and my own indulgence, but I do also write for the people who will hopefully read and enjoy. When people read and only ever leave kudos or not even that, it's like having a lemonade stand where people slither up to you in invisible mode, take lemonade and don't even look at you. Or maybe just whisper "thanks". Except the lemonade took weeks to make.
