ALMA High School Scholars Program (HSSP) Mentee Application
Thank you for your interest in the ALMA High School Scholars Program (HSSP). This form should take about 10-15 minutes to complete.

Please complete this application in its entirety. In addition to this form, you should also submit the general ALMA-HSSP Application(English version / Spanish Version). You can either submit pictures or email the completed form to academiccoordinator@mpnagreen.org

HSSP, is designed to connect high school students from the Santa Ana community with college students from UCI, UCLA, and other nearby colleges. At our workshops you will get one-on-one help with personal statements, financial aid questions, study skills, professional development, and more! Scholars will be required to submit this application and attend an orientation/information session  before joining the program.

ALMA-HSSP Program Expectations
Our program is divided into two sessions, by committing to this program you commit to joining both sessions.  
Session I: October 1 - December 3, 2022
Session II: January 14, 2023 to May 20, 2023 

 Attendance Policy: 
  • High school mentees are required to attend all workshops, and may only miss up to 2 workshops per session with a valid excuse.
  • High school mentees must notify the academic coordinator at least 48 hours before a workshop with a valid excuse.
Community Service Hours:  
  • High school mentees are required to complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service, with verification.

Study Hall:
  • Study Halls will be held throughout the year, mentees are required to join at least 3* study halls a year
*subject to change based on program calendar
