Barkhamsted Recreation's Easter Bunny Visit      INFO Below!                                                                  (Saturday, April 16, 2022  from 2:00-4:00 p.m.  at the lawn next to Orchard Hill Bakery and Peter Greenwoods Glass Blowing Studio in Riverton.  Egg Hunt and Visit with the Easter Bunny with Photos  When:  Saturday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m. Where:  The Lawn next to Peter Greenwood’s Glass Blowing Studio and next to Orchard Hill Bakery in Riverton                                                     What to Bring:  Your Easter Basket to join in on the Easter Egg Hunt, a smile and a camera!                The children will be divided into two separate age groups for a toy and candy filled Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Recreation Commission.   The Event will be held rain, snow or shine!!! Please register for the Easter Egg Hunt by submitting this form before Wednesday, April 13                                             (Please bring and wear a face mask when social distancing is not possible)  We ask everyone to check their temperature before coming to the event and if you or your child have a temperature, over 100 please do not attend.  Also, please do not attend if you are feeling ill or you, your family or any close contacts are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.  Thank you for helping with following all the necessary safety guidelines while having fun!                                                                 (Please help spread the word to other families!)  Looking forward to seeing you there.  The event will be held rain, snow or shine!!  Only severe weather would cancel.  (you would only be contacted that day by email/Facebook post on the Town Page by 12 p.m. that morning in event of severe weather)

I GIVE MY SON/DAUGHTER, SELF and FAMILY PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE BARKHAMSTED RECREATION DEPARTMENT'S PROGRAM.  TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE TOWN OF BARKHAMSTED AND ITS EMPLOYEES, STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS FROM ANY INJURIES OR DAMAGES CAUSED BY OR RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATION BY IN THE TOWN OF BARKHAMSTED RECREATION DEPARTMENT’S PROGRAM.

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE: I understand that for promotional purposes only, the Town of Barkhamsted photographs, and/or records video of participants enrolled in recreational activities, classes or at special events. I hereby release and permit the Town of Barkhamsted to utilize for said promotional purposes any photographs and/or videotapes of me or my minor child engaging in the above-listed recreational activities.

Please understand that regardless of all of the safety measures and precautions that will be taken, it is not possible to guarantee a COVID-19 free environment,  COVID-19 is now a risk that is inherent in everyday life.  By participating in, and allowing your child to participate in Recreational activities, you hereby accept the risk that you/or your child may be exposed to, and possibly contract COVID-19.

I understand and accept that Barkhamsted Recreation relies on the honesty and truth of all of the program participants that they are not doing so while they, or any member of their household are sick or are feeling COVID-19 symptoms.  Neither, or anyone in my household, currently has or feels any symptoms of COVID-19.  If this changes before the recreation event, I and my family will not attend.

Info about the event
The Event will be held rain or shine (only a severe storm would cancel the event).  In the event of a severe weather cancellation, registrants will be contacted and there will be a post on the Town of Barkhamsted Facebook page by 12 p.m. the day of the event.  Everyone is required to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.
