Weber State University - Educators Rising (Formally Future Educators Association - FEA) Officer Application for the 2022-2023 School Year -- Application Deadline is July 29, 2022!
Students who are WSU Educator Rising Officers will be required to meet monthly at WSU Educators Rising Board meetings. Officers will also be responsible for holding events, socials, and service projects for all WSU Educators Rising members throughout the 2022-2023 academic year. WSU Educators Rising Officer positions/duties are as follows:

The PRESIDENT shall attend monthly Clubs & Organizations meetings in the Union Building, preside over the monthly WSU Educators Rising  Board meetings, maintain member lists, and manage digital communications.

The VICE-PRESIDENT shall fill in when the club president cannot be present for the Clubs & Organizations meeting. The VP special duties include creating the agenda for the monthly WSU Educator Rising Board meetings and supporting fellow WSU Educator Rising board members in their efforts to fulfill designated officer responsibilities.

The SOCIAL MEDIA AND WEB OFFICER is responsible for the WSU Educator Rising Facebook page content, and also for managing WSU Educators Rising Org Sync page with WSU Clubs & Orgs. The social media & web officer is required to take pictures at all WSU Educators Rising events and activities and attends the monthly WSU Educators Rising board meetings.

The SPECIAL EDUCATION PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER attends monthly WSU Educators Rising Board meetings, is responsible for new member recruitment, and serves as a liaison between Educators Rising and special education students/faculty.

The EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER attends monthly WSU Educators Rising Board meetings, is responsible for new member recruitment, and serves as a liaison between Educators Rising and early childhood education students/faculty.

The ELEMENTARY EDUCATION PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER attends monthly WSU Educators Rising Board meetings, is responsible for new member recruitment, and serves as a liaison between  Educators Rising and elementary education students/faculty.  

The SECONDARY EDUCATION PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER attends monthly WSU Educators Rising Board meetings, is responsible for new member recruitment, and serves as a liaison between  Educators Rising and secondary students/faculty.

The ACADEMIC EVENTS PLANNER works with WSU Educators Rising advisors to coordinate and schedule all planned academic events for the organization. This person will distribute event information to all WSU FEA club members and ensure necessary staffing levels are met. Required to attend monthly WSU  Educators Rising  Board meetings.

The SOCIAL EVENTS PLANNER  coordinates all planned social events for the organization. This person will create promotional materials and ensure that social event information is made available to every  Educators Rising member in print and digital formats. Required to attend monthly WSU  Educators Rising Board meetings.

The SECRETARY is responsible for taking notes at all of the WSU  Educators Rising Board meetings, as well as ensuring that meeting minutes will be made available to all WSU Educators Rising officers within 48 hours.
