Jr. Makers' Market Vendor Application for the 2024 Simcoe Heritage Friendship Festival!

Dates for this year's Festival are Friday August 2-Monday August 5, 2024.

The form, below, is the Jr. Makers' Market Vendor Application for 2024 Festival, and it will also serve as an Agreement between you, your Parents or Guardians and The Festival. Please make sure you have read through everything thoroughly.

You must be 18 years or younger to participate in our Jr. Makers' Market. The purpose of this Marketplace is to give budding entrepreneurs a chance at selling their hand-made goods in a Festival environment, with the hope that it will inspire them to become full-time vendors with us (and other events) in the near future! Because of this, there is NO charge for these spaces for the 2024 Festival.

I would like to share a booth with another Jr. Maker (who is applying separately) and who must meet all criteria. This person's name is:

As a Vendor, you must agree to the following (Check off all, indicating you have read and agree): *

For the Jr. Makers Market I certify that I am 18 years of age or younger, that the items I am selling at my booth are handcrafted by me. I understand I can share one booth space with another Jr. Maker, who must also apply separately.

You must dismantle your booth each day, at the end of the day (after 4pm). The Simcoe Heritage Friendship Festival will not be held responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced or damaged items.

You must check in with the KidsZone Coordinators PRIOR to setting up your booth space.

Set-Up is from 9:00am until 10:00am each day (Sat. through Mon.)

The Festival runs rain or shine. Please be prepared to cover your booth area with a tarp in case of rain.

No switching of tables or booths is permitted without the permission of the Festival.

As a Vendor, you are responsible for maintaining a clear and safe booth area.

You will be given a vendor space that is approximately 10'x10'. You will need to provide a table and chairs and any other equipment for your booth. We will endeavor to provide you with a tent or in a shaded area. You are welcome to provide your own safety-approved flame-retardant tent. Please acknowledge this requirement of participation.

As a Vendor, you are expected to conduct yourself in a manner which aligns with a family-friendly event.

Sales must be conducted in your booth area only.

You are only permitted to sell what is listed in this application. No substitutions allowed.

The Simcoe Heritage Friendship Festival has the authority to close operations of a Vendor, on site, if they are not abiding by the rules.

The Simcoe Heritage Friendship Festival Executive decisions are final.
