The virtual meeting will be held on June 8th at 7:00p.m. During the event, Citrus Circuits students will discuss the DYR League program structure, how to get students involved, how to become a coach, and what the upcoming season may look like. The virtual meeting will be recorded.
More information can be found at https://www.citruscircuits.org/dyr-league.html.

DYR (Davis Youth Robotics) League is a local robotics program designed to engage 4th-8th graders in competitive robotics. Students will gain science, math, programming, and engineering skills while learning sportsmanship and teamwork values. Teams are composed of 2-10 children and 2 adult coaches, and can also request student mentors from Citrus Circuits.

This form is for finding a team based on age, friendships, location, and other factors. If you have confirmed with a coach of a team that your student will be on their team this coming season, please DO NOT fill out this form. Instead, the coach will fill out this form:

Coaches DO NOT need technical experience but will be responsible for collecting and spending funds, supervising team meetings, and organizing/running team activities. Without a sufficient number of coaches, we will not be able to guarantee spots for all interested students. Please consider volunteering as a coach!

If you fill out this form indicating interest in being a coach, we assume you will be a coach.

Meetings occur once or twice a week depending on scheduling and availability of students and coaches. These will likely take place at a parent’s house or a nearby school.

You will receive confirmation of your registration once teams are created in August.

PLEASE NOTE: This form DOES NOT guarantee a spot on a team if there are not enough teams or coaches. The only way to guarantee that your student gets on a team is to be a coach and form your own team. We are here to help you form your own team!
