Welcome back to this
seventh Season of the
La Claque Draft Leagues' B.O.U circuit, fourteenth of a now well established community! For this next edition, the circuit is now looking for coaches, old and new, from all across the community, interested in developing themselves and the community!
The
B.O.U is a
Custom format, whose purpose is to give to all Pokémon
new abilities and
moves related to their
design, Pokédex entries, lore, etc. In short, logical changes that said Pokémon could have in the official games! You're free to come participate in the Leagues or in the format, to suggest new additions! This format gives rise to new threats, improved staples, and a multitude of innovative options for all Pokémon, allowing for immense replayability of well-known Draft options. Including, but not limited to,
Kyurem-Black Ice Punch,
Zeraora Iron Fist,
Musharna Comatose, or
Snorlax Slack Off!
In addition to that, it sees the removal of every restrictions related to generational changes, or events, meaning, you're completely free to use Event incompatibilities (Jirachi with Ancient Power and Moonblast at the same time), Uni-generational items (Gen 5 gems), Movepools and abilities exclusive to certain generations (GSC Golem's Rapid Spin, BDSP Deoxys-Defense's Toxic Spikes or PLA Gardevoir's Ice Beam and Recover) and Gen 8 and 9's Wipedex (Deleted Pokémon, moves and items)!
We play with Tera Points budget with one STAB Tera and one non-STAB Tera, allowing both top and lower tiers to shine among your roster, be it your dazzling Gholdengo, your fierce Okidogi, your boiling Crocalor, or THE DRIPlin itself!
La Claque Draft League is a mixed association from both English and French speaking communities, which has been running for years now, on both our OU and B.O.U circuits. This B.O.U season will be played in
Teams of 3 Paldea Dex Ghosting Tour, meaning that you only get one Draft for all three members, and can build and play for your games all together. This also means that you'll have to enter this tournament as a team from the get go.
To sum it up, we'll have!:
- 135 points to invest in 11 Pokémon, ranging from 1 to 25.
- Tera Points budget with one STAB Tera and one non-STAB Tera.
- Two playing pools of 8 players each, thematically based, after an unique Drafting Pool.
- B.O.U format.
- Ghosting Team of 3 format.
- Seven weeks, with three more dedicated to PlayOffs.
So, don't hesitate to come and join us, to help us grow bigger as a community, and allow us to host even larger events, by filling up this application! You can also join if you wanna spectate, watch the replays, or ask for advices, it's always nice to see new faces, discuss, exchange, and help each other! You can also look up the replays from the previous OU season, which just finished last month! Speaking English is required, and mandatory, so don't feel shy or nervous about this experience!
