Leading Through Change Summary: “By any objective measure, the amount of significant, often traumatic change in organizations has grown tremendously over the past two decades” - John Kotter, Leading Change, Pg. 3 This quote written in 2012 was true at the time, but is even more relevant today. Even in the past 18 months we have seen the world and business climate become more volatile, uncertain and complex; and these forces have increased the rate of change for organizations exponentially. As leaders, we have to accept the fact that the world is changing faster than ever before and that our organizations are going to be in a constant state of change. The question is, are we prepared as leaders to lead change effectively within our organizations?In this workshop we will define change leadership and explore the art and science of leading change.
