Education Institute Session Proposal
Do you have an interesting topic that you’d like to share with library & information professionals across Canada? We want to hear from you!

The Education Institute is always looking for presenters to share best practices, expert knowledge, tips & tricks and stories across many topics, such as:

Innovative approaches to reference or collection practices
Successful library programming and services
Management & Leadership
Advocacy
Teaching & Learning
Tech Tools
Digital Literacy, Privacy & Security
Marketing & Community Outreach
Project Management & Productivity
Fundraising
Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility

Dates & Times:
Webinars are scheduled on Tuesdays, and Thursdays between 12-3 pm EST.  The Winter Semester runs from February - April, Summer Semester runs from May - August, and Fall Semester runs from September - December.

Webinars are typically 1 hour in length, including Q&A. If preferred, presenters can instead lead a 30 minute “Lunch & Learn” webinar, which will give presenters the opportunity to share pro tips, success stories, or expand on a lightning talk.

Compensation:
Presenters will receive an honourarium for their session.

We value student research and want your voice to be heard & showcased. As the next generation of library professionals, this is a wonderful opportunity to share your research and experience with people in the field and foster connections between academic schools and professionals.

Student speakers will be a part of our “Bright Young Minds” webinar series, and will receive an honourarium.
