Disney's unique curriculum and learning environment is brimming with educational workshops that draw students into creative thinking and fearless exploration through the magic of Disney Parks. Disney's mission is student development. They provide students with the tools they need to express themselves creatively and academically, so they are prepared for real-world challenges.

In addition to the workshops, students will have time to explore the parks and have that perfect day at Disney! Any parent, guardian, or teacher may register a child (or group) ages 14-22 to join our trips hosted by Mouseketeers. We will then contact you with more information.

Our travel partner, Educational Destinations, has provided us an estimated $1,200* package price per person for our 2-Day Learning Experience at Disney (*PAYMENT PLANS ARE AVAILABLE).

WORKSHOP: LEADERSHIP & INNOVATION 
(DISNEYLAND + WALT DISNEY WORLD)

Become inspired by one of the most innovative brands in the world through tried-and-true techniques developed by Disney leaders.

At Disney Imagination Campus, their Leadership & Innovation curriculum allows students to examine the learnings and challenges that many current leaders and even Walt Disney himself have faced while striving to ensure that Disney continues to excel in innovation, imagination and Guest satisfaction. They’ll also be introduced to Disney’s 5 Keys of Excellence: Safety, Courtesy, Efficiency, Show, and Inclusion, and even developing their own keys along the way. And, by stepping into the shoes of a Disney leader, they’ll learn invaluable lessons about creative problem solving, and the importance of developing partnerships with other leaders and fellow Cast Members across all theme park areas.

Their curriculum is customized to encourage students to embrace the creative process and develop independence in thought and action. 

WORKSHOP: BROADWAY MAGIC "FROZEN"
(WALT DISNEY WORLD)

Disney Broadway Magic "Frozen" - Performers will learn a scene from one of our world-famous shows that combine singing, dancing and acting. At the end of the workshop, they’ll take to the stage for a show-stopping final performance.

Experience the glitz and glamour of live musical theatre in this immersive performance workshop— created in partnership with Disney Theatrical Group, Disney on Broadway and Disney Cruise Line.

Receive Invaluable Guidance from Industry Professionals

In the Disney Broadway Magic – Musical Theatre Workshop, students gain an understanding of the fundamentals of musical theatre through participation—including breath control, diction and character development.

Industry professionals will lead students in fast-paced rehearsals of a scene from one of Disney’s world-famous shows—culminating in a show-stopping final performance!

This Broadway theatre workshop also offers students critical insights into audition techniques, the importance of every role in a production and how to overcome unexpected obstacles during performances.

Key Learning Objectives

After completing this unique musical theatre workshop, students will be able to:

  • Create an inclusive and safe audition space
  • Focus on breath control and diction to better tell a story
  • Examine how body language, facial expressions and vocal qualities impact a character
  • Discuss how various production roles come together to create a finished product
  • Make the best vocal and acting choices for a musical composition, lyrics and character development

Technology of Disney Parks - Get an inside look at how our Disney Imagineers dream, design, and put their storytelling skills and practice techniques to use in order to bring beloved Disney characters and stories to life.

Storytelling is at the very heart of everything we do at Disney. Wherever you are in our theme parks and Resorts, you’re immersed in our stories. At this illuminating workshop, learn about the major role technology has played in enabling us to tell those stories in new and exciting ways.

Bring Magical Stories to Life through Science and Technology

What would you get if you took a science field trip to Disney Parks?

You’d get a technology workshop, an engineering workshop and a STEM workshop all rolled into one! In the unique Technology of Disney Parks Workshop, students will learn how Disney stories are central to everything in Disney Parks—and that to tell those stories through attractions, themed-lands and delightful experiences, we need innovative technology. Specifically, we use arts and entertainment technology that is deeply rooted in science.

Students will get an inside look at how Disney Imagineers dream, design and use technology and engineering to immerse Guests in our stories. From Audio-Animatronics to light and sound effects and more, students will learn why technology is the most valuable as well as the most challenging tool used in theme park operations every day.

Key Learning Objectives

After completing the Technology of Disney Parks Workshop, students will be able to:

  • Describe Walt Disney’s contributions to the creation and progress of technology in Disney Parks’ attractions and experiences
  • Define the difference between hydraulics and pneumatics—and explain the benefits of each
  • Understand the emotional impact sound and light can have in an attraction
  • Gain knowledge of the history and evolution of theme park technologies
  • Explore the versatility of a specific technology by seeing how it’s used in vastly different ways
  • Explain how acoustical engineering applies to the design of spaces
