Digital Built Environment: Tools, Projects, and Future Directions in Practice, Research, and Education
Organized in cooperation by TU Delft (digiNEB coordinator) and the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb

On-Site
: Zagreb Architects Association
Trg bana Josipa Jelačića, 10000, Zagreb, Croatia

The adoption of digital tools and solutions is imperative for the advancement of current and future professionals in the built environment. What tools, projects and applications have we seen so far? When considering the extent of their application and the types of users, what observations can be made regarding their scale? Do the funding opportunities match the needs and context in which researchers, educators and architects work? Furthermore, when examining the different scales of usage (large, medium, small), what conclusions can be drawn regarding their availability and operability? This includes considerations for Open Source as well as other licenses.

These questions will be deliberated upon in two workshops. The morning session will be geared toward practice and research, while the afternoon session will focus on education. The primary objectives are to pinpoint existing gaps and delineate potential paths forward.
