Thanks for your interest in Green Dot! We have two types of programs available.
Overview Talk:
The Green Dot overview talk is an hour to 1.5 hour training that introduces the basic elements of bystander intervention as well as some skill building activities to engage participants in immediate action.
Bystander Training:
Green Dot bystander training is comprised of alternating components of brief lecture, individual reflection, small group interaction and high energy activities. It is designed with the bystander lens as the central frame of reference and guided by the question “What does the participant need to know in order to increase the likelihood of effective proactive and reactive bystander interventions in response to interpersonal violence?
You can attend either or both trainings. If you attend the bystander training first, there is no need to attend the overview talk afterward.
