Na-Me-Res (Native Men's Residence) is a non-profit registered charitable organization, and its traditional powwow had a strong presence in the Aboriginal and non-aboriginal community of Toronto since 2004. Our powwow has become a staple event in Toronto and receives recognition locally and internationally each year.
It is a time for celebration and a time to gather, presenting special guests, traditional drum groups, traditional dances, First Nations crafters, traditional education booths and food trucks. All participants are invited to experience a rich culture by taking part for traditional dancing, feasting and giveaway.
This year it is held at Fort York National Historical Park on June 15th in which we anticipate well over 17,000 people in attendance.
Na-Me-Res is seeking for food vendors and encourage Indigenous-run businesses to apply; Priority will be given to Indigenous applicants. Application process requires you to fill out a food vendor agreement and Temporary food establishment. Please review the application package following the link below.
