Tech Trails Green Infrastructure Project
I am currently a student completing my senior design project at Michigan Tech. My goal is to design a Green Infrastructure solution to better manage stormwater at the Michigan Tech Trails to prevent water from pooling on the trails in the fall and spring months.

Green Infrastructure includes a variety of water management solutions such as green roofs, rain gardens, constructed wetlands, bioswales, etc. These practices utilize plants and soils to mimic natural processes to help move water into less problematic areas, and can even pick some pollutants out of the stormwater at the same time! This means water from rain and melting snow can be managed without sacrificing the natural beauty and benefits of native plants and green space.

This survey is anonymous and should only take a couple minutes of your time to complete, and any input is much appreciated!
