23-24 Walker Registration Form

A new Walker Registration Form needs to be submitted each school year.

By registering your student to be a walker, we ask that you please be courteous to neighboring businesses and arrive at your agreed-upon meeting location by 3:30 p.m. Children left unsupervised may become bored and begin defacing the landscaping of neighboring businesses or participating in unsafe behavior. As good neighbors in our community and as a matter of safety, our child(ren) must not climb on our neighbor's trees, berms, or run through their parking lots. Failure to follow these rules may result in the revocation of Walker privileges.

Flagstaff Academy has a staffed crosswalk for your child(ren)'s safety. This crosswalk is the only place students and parents should cross during dismissal time. Please do not jaywalk at any time, but especially during Driveline.

By completing this form, you are agreeing to the following statement:

I authorize my child(ren) to leave the school premises at the end of the school day. I also agree to arrive no later than 3:30 p.m. to pick up my child and/or direct my child to proceed immediately home after being released. At that time, Flagstaff Academy is no longer responsible for the whereabouts of students registered as walkers.

I give my child permission to leave the school premises at dismissal time, and have been instructed to use the cross walks to walk home or to a car parked in the designated parking spots at Front Range Community College.

I understand my child will be allowed to leave school property at the end of the school day.

I understand that I am to meet my child at the crosswalk, at dismissal time, and escort them to our vehicle safely. Allowing children to be dismissed, and wait in the neighborhood unattended, for periods longer than 10 minutes, is prohibited.
