CO-OP request form
The co-op classes are designed to provide students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the field.  All co-op classes have a prerequisite course that must be successfully completed prior to registering for the Co-Op.  
Co-Op is comprised of a weekly seminar class AND intership hours.  The number of hours required depends on the program and co-op class.

An appointment with a career counselor is required and should be completed at least two weeks prior to the start of the semester.

What happens next?
If you do not have a resume, start working on one. You do need to submit a resume to the Career Center prior to being enrolled in Co-Op course.
If you do not have a intership secured, use your College Central (www.collegecentral.com/bergencc) to start searching for one.
A counselor will review your BCC record and reach out via the email address you provided. Please note delays may occur during peak registration time (May, August, and January)
Counselors may be able to provide leads for co-op, but it is the student's responsibility to secure the site. Finding placements becomes more challenging  in the weeks prior to the start of the semester.
