Stretford Repair Cafe is hosted at our Stretford Mall Pop (Unit 40, Chester Road, Stretford Mall, M32 9BB) every second Saturday of the month.

For those not familiar with the term, a Repair Cafe is a free meeting place where people get together to repair things. The first Repair Cafe was held in Amsterdam in 2009, and since then, has grown into a global network of menders.

We are looking for people who can volunteer their skills; whether it's fixing a bike puncture, replacing a zip or wiring a lamp - big or small you are welcome. You don't need to be an expert or have all the answers - our visitors are grateful for any help. If you're able to volunteer a more complicated and specific skill, please note that you'll need to bring your own tools, as our tool stock is limited.
