In order to provide safeguards as students and families continue to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and manage other out-of-school challenges, parents/guardians of high school students have the option to replace their student’s passing final grades with ‘CR’ (credit).
Once a student receives their final grade on their transcript, a parent/guardian (or student who is 18 or older) can request to change the grade from the numerical grade to 'CR'. The 'CR' indicates credit, and is not factored into the GPA.
Students must receive a numerical grade of 65% or higher to qualify for the 'CR' request.
Parents/Guardians can change grades from any year the student is enrolled, until they are discharged from high school, effective March, 2020.
