We are delighted to be able to welcome parents and carers into school again to support the children’s learning. This can be in several ways: some parents join us on school trips; others support with learning activities in the classroom and some parents listen to children read or help the children to play maths games.

As a Hampshire School, we follow their guidance for volunteer recruitment, which will include an application form, declaration form and Enhanced DBS check for those who are eligible.

Definitions:
Volunteer – able to offer help either once a week or more, or 4 or more days in a 30 day period and satisfies the Enhanced DBS application criteria.

Helper – able to offer occasional help less than stated above.

We will also be considering applications from potential volunteers who have an existing connection with the School.
