The American Legion Auxiliary Hawai'i Girls State (ALAHGS) takes great pride in extending this distinguished leadership initiative to the youth of Hawai'i. We are thrilled that you have chosen to submit your application.

To qualify for participation in the ALA Girls State/Girls Nation endeavors, you must:
* Be currently enrolled in your Junior Year of High School 2024-2025.
* Be a citizen or legal resident of the United States at the time of application.

               (Should only take 5 minutes to complete).

2.  INTERVIEWS will be held on MARCH 16
 (In person for Oahu students, virtual for neighbor islands.)
A follow up email will be sent by March 8, Which will include an announcement stating whether or not you have qualified for the Interview Stage.

3.  DATES OF PROGRAM

4.  Minimum $100 Donation (but not yet.)
Delegates provide a fully deductible $100 donation on day of interview.  The donation serves to offset a small portion of program expenses including lodging and meals.

5.  TRAVEL to HPU
All delegates must arrange travel to and from the program at Hawaii Pacific University Aloha Tower Dorms.
Please let us know if you need financial support for travel.  There are limited funds but, we try to help all who need.
