‘Your Back Yard’, www.yourbackyard.org.uk, have been commissioned by Seaton Valley Council to ‘refresh’ the plans that were written in 2015 covering the five villages, of Seghill, Seaton Delaval, Holywell, New Hartley and Seaton Sluice.

In 2015 five village plans were produced (plus one overarching valley plan). This time the intention is to do just the one valley wide plan, with different themes, that include the five villages.

Rather than repeat the extensive consultation we did last time (which included a survey being delivered to every household in the valley), the intention is to build on what came out of that research and update where necessary.

That will mean focusing on what might have changed, what still needs to be done and what new challenges, and opportunities might be apparent now that were not around in 2015 (impact of the pandemic, cost of living crisis etc.).

This programme of consultation and engagement will include an online consultation.

Therefore, we ask if you could please answer the questions below.
