This is the registration form for the Masterclass Ballet for Children, ages 8-11

Location: Podium Mozaïek Studio*

* studio number will be assigned, AmsterDans ushers will show you the way in the theater

Fee per participating student is €15

after registration, you'll receive the total due and the payment information via email

Note: if you're a director of a school, it's best to fill out one form only for the total number of dancers who will take this class. See the questions below.

This class is taught by J Ryan Carroll

J Ryan Carroll has been a regular guest teacher at the Dutch National Ballet Academy since 2021, as well as Conny Janssen Danst, De Dutch Don’t Dance Division, Amsterdam University of the Arts Expanded Contemporary Division, ArtEZ Enschede, ICK, De Stilte and Henny Jurriens Studio, among others. In 2023, J Ryan represented Ernst Meisner and the Dutch National Ballet Academy as an adjudicator and teacher at both the Italian Dance Awards and YGP Semi Finals in Barcelona. Before moving to the Netherlands, J Ryan was a regular guest teacher at Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, and Ballet Arts in NYC. He was also on the faculty at American Ballet Theatre Summer Program. In January of 2024, J Ryan taught a teachers training program at ArtEZ Enschede.

J Ryan teaches ballet based on the Harkness Ballet Method - developed further by his mentor David Howard - and Yoga Narada®, developed by his mentor Hilary Cartwright.

The registration fees for the masterclasses will not be refunded in case of cancellation on the part of the participants. The organizers cannot be held responsible for damages or injuries that may occur during the event to objects or people. The leader of each group, under their sole responsibility, declares that all participants have a sufficiently good state of health for physical fitness and that the minor participants have obtained permission from their parents or legal guardians to participate in this event. The leader of the group ensures that all participants and the parents of any participants who are minors have read and agree to the liability waiver. The leader of each group who signs this application form declares under their own responsibility that students, parents, tutors, or guardians have been informed about and have approved each point and rule/regulation, and the terms and conditions for participation as stated.
