Welcome to UC Berkeley! Berkeley International Office is preparing for your arrival to campus this Spring, and we are excited to welcome you at BIO's International Student Orientation.

Please note that In order to best serve the incoming student body in terms of safety and accessibility, Spring 2024 International Student Orientation will be held in a hybrid format. There will be Virtual Orientation sessions held from 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 12. In addition, you are invited to attend an In-Person International Student Social Event on Friday, January 12, from 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m., with refreshments provided. Note: EAP Students are also expected to attend the EAP Student Welcome held as part of the Golden Bear Orientation program, which will be held on Thursday, January 11, from 5:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.

Please note, there are several other orientations occurring on campus this Spring:

All new undergraduates (first year, transfer and EAP) are required to attend Golden Bear Orientation.

All new graduates (masters and PhD) are invited to attend the Graduate Division Orientation (as well as department orientations).
