COVID-19 and 2021-2022 School Year

While there are many details to work out, our intention is to offer only on-campus instruction in August. We will follow CDC & WCCHD (Wilco Health District) guidelines in place at that time for social distancing, masking, sanitizing, etc.

With the CDC's current distancing guidelines, we believe we can serve all students on campus without a distance learning option. We understand that area schools plan to offer separate distance learning campuses, but Meridian does not have the staffing flexibility to accomplish this kind of approach.

With this in mind, do you currently plan to have your students return to Meridian in the fall?

We use many tools to help keep the rate of COVID-19 transmission down on our campus. One of those tools is vaccinations. We'd like to get a pulse on vaccinations within our Meridian community. This is an anonymous survey, and your answer helps provide a clearer picture of where we stand in terms of providing protection to our more vulnerable populations at Meridian.

All adults in our immediate family will be fully vaccinated by August 2021

Everyone aged 16+ in our immediate family will be fully vaccinated by August 2021

If/when vaccinations open up to children age 12+, everyone age 12+ in our family will be fully vaccinated

Some eligible (age-wise) members in our immediate family will not be vaccinated by August 2021 (due to medical or other reasons)

We may be able to have emergency messages translated into other languages via Google Translate, as supported by our message system. **If you would prefer a language other than English, please select the language you would prefer. (We'll follow up later with a non anonymous survey, but this helps us gauge the need for translations).

Key Message: The Meridian Annual Fund is a yearly fundraising appeal to raise money for Meridian World School. Each year the Meridian Annual Fund supports new computers, science and technology upgrades, IB teacher training, library updates, campus improvements, safety & security - and much more! Our goal is $275,000 and we ask each family to donate $250 per student. We understand giving is not one size fits all, and all donations in any amount are valued and appreciated.
