The Vereen Research Institute Summer Research Scholars Program (VRI-SRSP) is a formal, competitive internship designed to provide undergraduate students with theoretical knowledge, practical training in academic research, and critical exposure to graduate and professional school preparation emphasizing environmental and metagenomic studies-focused career trajectories under the direct mentorship of VRI faculty and Research Mentors.

- Minimum requirements include a GPA of 3.0 or higher
