The Nixyáawii Marketing Team is committed to making the 99-year residential lease selection and offer process as fair and open as possible for all interested Tribal Members. Interest in the Nixyáawii subdivision is growing and there is a strong possibility that some of the lots within the Nixyáawii will have multiple individuals interested in acquire a 99-year lease for them.

Methods for Determining Final Offer
The Nixyáawii Marketing Team is soliciting feedback on four (4) different methods to determine who will be able to acquire 99-year residential lease for one of the lots within the Nixyáawii subdivision in the event that where more than one individual is interested in the same lot.  Please read the description of the four methods below:

1) Open Bidding:  Each individual that made an offer for a 99-year lease will have an chance to bid against each other to determine who gets to acquire the 99-year lease for the lot in question.

2)  Closed Bidding:  Each individual who made an offer for a 99-year lease will indicate the maximum they would be willing to pay.  The highest amount will determine the successful offer, and that amount would be the cost of the 99-yearlease for the lot in question.

3)  Random Draw:  All individuals who made an offer for a 99-year lease will be entered into a drawing, which will be selected at random.  The selected individual would be able to acquire the 99-year lease for the lot in question.

4)  Points System:  Each individual who made an offer for the 99-year lease will be assigned a score based on priority criteria including elder status (65+), veteran status, or families with children.  The individual with the greatest number of points would be awarded the opportunity to acquire the 99-year lease for the lot in question.
