Companies/organization must meet the following WIPSI requirements: be located in Nova Scotia; registered with the NS Registry of Joint Stocks or incorporated by an Act of the Nova Scotia Legislature; been in existence for more than one year; have 50 or less employees to receive the training at no costs; have at least $25,000 in wages or owner remuneration, be operating within the ICT and digital technologies sector, and be a member of Digital Nova Scotia.  If your company has more than 50 employees it will need to contribute 50% of the training costs ($825 + HST) per participant.

Social enterprises and revenue-generating not-for-profit organizations may be eligible for funding, and businesses not generating revenue from commercial activity are not eligible for WIPSI funding.
