Facilitators will use interactive activities to familiarize participants with Regional Office of Education services and resources, the licensure process, mentoring expectations, effective communication with parents and colleagues, professional teaching standards, and planning for those first crucial days of school. This will also be an opportunity for new teachers to connect with other beginning teachers within the Lee/Ogle/Whiteside region.
