Mesilla Valley Homebrew Club offers a Tri State competition for all home brewers living in New Mexico, Texas and Chihuahua, Mexico, This competition is open homebrewers; no Pro-Am brewers are allowed. This is an AHA-sanctioned competition and-all standard rules apply. Please use the 2021 BJCP Style

entries.

March 11th MV Homebrew meeting and on Facebook. Winners will also receive an email.

Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 .
Two (2) 12 ounce brown glass bottles with no labels or emboss designs. Gold or Silver
caps only. The stewards will be handling the entries and determine if they meet the requirements.
Any late entries, late payments or unacceptable bottles maybe included in the judging but are not eligible for any awards.
After Registration you will be emailed a unique Entry Label ID # and attachment with labels. Place the label on the bottle with a rubberband. Don’t glue it onto the bottle, so that it can be removed easily. For fair judging, please remove any labels or other identifiers that may indicate who brewed the beer. Write the Label ID# on the bottle cap with a black felt tip pen in case the label falls off.

COMPETITION PRIZES
All winners will receive medallions for first, second, and third place.
The Best in Show winner will also receive an award.
BJCP Judges are solely responsibility for determining whether an entry is
deserving of a medal. All decisions of the judges, competition staff, and organizer
will be final, without exception.
The winners and Best of Show Awards Ceremony will be held at the March 11th Homebrew meeting that will the location announced in February via Facebook and the MVHC club email list. Medals and prizes will be handed for those in attendance. We will ship medals and prizes to all non-local entrants via U.S. Post Office or other common carrier the week after the competition. Score sheets will be emailed the week after the competition.
