Thank you for considering joining the SpiceBuddy program!  We're all volunteers and SpiceWorld veterans that are here to help those who are attending the conference for the first time.  The first time attending can be overwhelming.  So many presentations to see, so many events to attended, vendors to talk to and of course, tons of fellow IT pros to chat with!  One thing that helps someone new is knowing someone during the conference to help ground them, introduce them to new friends and just expand on the experience!

Being a SpiceBuddy is easy, but to be one, there are some expectations to be aware of before submitting your application.

- You will be interacting with many people.  People you may or may not know before.  Some will even be asking you questions about Spiceworks, SpiceWorld or something completely different!

- Be an active member of the TEAM!  This covers a broad range of activities, such as sharing ideas, holding a shift on the SpiceBuddy booth, helping with setup and tear down of the booth, getting people excited for SpiceWorld, convincing people to attend the Boot Camp sessions, and showing just how great the SpiceBuddy program is!

Our focus is to make SpiceWorld the best experience possible for both newbies and veterans alike, and we do that by being ourselves and sharing our experiences and being there to help how we can.  All of us current SpiceBuddies are ready to welcome you with hugs or a hearty handshake for your commitment to make this year even better for everyone!  

Oh yeah, one other thing.  You may be asking what you get out of this.  Well, besides the warm and fuzzies you get for helping others and adding to your own experiences at SpiceWorld, you'll get a special pin to wear during the conference to help you stand out as a SpiceBuddy, you'll also get a fancy community badge to show off with pride!
